Terms/Warranty
This Terms and Conditions Agreement outlines the relationship between Macatawa Gutter Services and the Client. By scheduling or accepting services from Macatawa Gutter Services, the Customer agrees to be bound by the following terms.
1. Scope of Services
Macatawa Gutter Services agrees to perform the work described in the provided written estimate or work order. This may include, but is not limited to:
Gutter installation and repair.
Gutter cleaning and debris removal.
Installation of gutter guards or leaf protection systems.
Downspout adjustment or replacement.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Validity: Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Adjustments: If unforeseen structural issues (e.g., rotted fascia boards, insect infestations, or structural decay) are discovered during the project, the Company will notify the Customer. Additional costs for labor and materials will be documented in a change order.
Deposits: A deposit of 50% may be required before work commences for large installations.
3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient work environment, the Customer agrees to:
Access: Provide clear access to the perimeter of the property, including moving vehicles, outdoor furniture, or fragile lawn ornaments.
Pet Safety: Ensure all pets are kept indoors or secured away from the work area.
4. Payment Terms
Due Date: Payment is due in full upon completion of the services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Late Fees: Payments not received within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 2% per month.
Method: We accept Cash, Check, Credit Card
5. Warranties and Limitations
Workmanship: Macatawa Gutter Services warrants labor and installation for a period of 20 yearsfrom the date of service.
Materials: Manufacturer warranties apply to materials. The Company is not responsible for material defects covered by the manufacturer.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Extreme weather events (hail, high winds, ice damming).
Structural shifting of the home.
Customer negligence or lack of maintenance.
Tree limbs falling on the gutter system.
6. Liability
Property Damage: While we take every precaution, the Company is not responsible for minor marks on lawns or driveways caused by ladders or equipment.
Pre-existing Conditions: The Company is not liable for leaks or damages resulting from pre-existing roof issues, rotted wood, or improper drainage grades not addressed in the scope of work.
7. Cancellation Policy
The Customer may cancel the service up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of $25% of quote.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan.
Acceptance of Terms
By signing the estimate or allowing Macatawa Gutter Services to commence work, the Customer acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
